DC Cinema's upcoming movie "Wonder Woman" hits US theaters in June to redeem for all the criticizing it received for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad." But, fans still are not fully aware of what is the role of the beautiful Amazon Warrior in the upcoming superhero movie.
"Wonder Woman" movie trailer did come out a while back which does let us know a few things about the movie. For instance, it notes us that Ares, the Greek God of War, will be the main antagonist. We also know that Diana will leave her homeland of Amazon and help stop World War II.
Further details on the "Wonder Woman" movie plot came out through an insight. In an interview with actor Ewen Bremner, DigitalSpy came to know that the actor was working in the movie alongside Wonder Woman as a soldier suffering from PTSD.
The interview with Bremner leaked further information about what to expect in the upcoming "Wonder Women" movie. According to him, he plays a character in the movie chosen by Wonder Woman as a part of a small group of unlikely soldiers. His character in the movie suffers from shellshock wounds (Post traumatic stress disorder) of the war. He was discharged from the war for his condition, but was later enlisted by Diana for a secret mission with her and the team.
Fans did see Wonder Woman and his team's old photo in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Bremner is the one in the far right. His description about the plot reveals a few things about the upcoming DC superhero movie.
Firstly, despite setting up a team, "Wonder Woman" will mostly be on her own in the movie. She will not be siding with a single power in the war which makes it a possibility of her being a non-trustable character by the participants in the War. Secondly, she will only entrust duties for her mission to a selected few and Bremner will be part of that team. With unusual characters in her team, she plans on turning the tables of the world war.
