"Mass Effect: Andromeda" fans are all too familiar with the franchise propensity to adopt difficult story choices, whether it relates to the choice of saving one of two loyal squad mates, or to the deciding of the fate of various alien races. For many of the game's players, some of the hardest options therein are those that connects to the manifold of romance choices that seem to scatter in the series. As far as the Mass Effect: Andromeda is concerned, gamers will be left in the dark when it comes to planning out their romantic pursuits in the universe.

BioWare has been reported to be planning to keep the romance options in the aforesaid game undisclosed until its release in March this year. The choice to make it a secret until then is attributed to no less than the studio General Manager Aaryn Flyn herself, who, via Twitter and after being questioned whether the romance options in the game would be revealed prior to the game's release, stated that an early release of the romance options has not been considered by the creators of the game.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" talks were apparent on her twitter account, Flynn said: "Honestly, I'm inclined to not do that. We've done it in the past and I'd prefer to keep that for the role playing." While many players may find Flynn's statement a little bit frustrating, especially those who have been longing to plan our their every move in the game in advance in order to gain advantage over others, the choice of making it a secret adds a little mystery to the game and thus contributes to its desirability as a whole.

While the romance options will be kept a secret, BioWare, nevertheless, has promised that there will be a myriad of choices that would be available for fans once they have been released. Although, these too are to remain a secret also. The secrecy shrouding the details of the game has lead fans to speculate as to which Mass Effect: Andromeda companions will end up as romantic options in the game, and whether any of such characters will even be up for a little romance altogether.

The anticipation of fans has been intensifying with BioWares keeping major parts of the game in secrecy for an extremely lengthy period. Such anticipation rises further with only a few months before the game's release to the public. Teasers were already released such as the Mass Effect: Andromeda cinematic trailer.

Some gamers, however, will be a little privileged over the others as a few gamers will be given EA access membership who will be getting a 10-hour trial of the game prior to its official release. Unlucky fans need not to worry, of course. The 10-hour privilege is definitely not enough for the gamers to power through the game's romance options. Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be released on March 21, 2017, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
