"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will hold an open house 10-hour trial a week before launch but for limited number of players only. At least it is safe to presume that there are few "Mass Effect: Andromeda" players who has EA Access or Origin Access which serve as pre-requisite.

According to the publisher, lucky EA or Origin Access holders can take a lengthy peek of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" ahead of the rest which can only start on March 21 release. It seems unfair for regular players but the limitation doesn't end with Access.

GameSpot reported that PlayStation 4 players might not jump in this "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trial because either Access are only available on PC and Xbox One. The nearest possibility for PS4 players to peek at the game is the rumored beta testing. Again, everything is still on the fly because developer BioWare has not yet confirmed a date for beta.

With or without "Mass Effect: Andromeda" beta testing, the safest route for players is to register at BioWare website. By doing so, players will be notified should there be a pre-release playing event. The website also assures that they will consider the registered players if there are tech tests and other programs for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

In a related development, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will not hold any season pass. BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn himself bluntly answered that there will be no season pass. Fans also asked Flynn through Twitter about the possibility of expanding "Mass Effect: Andromeda" into single player. Flynn's answer gave a glimmer of hope as he said, "We'll talk more about that later."

Apart from trials, season pass and single player mode, other questions that Flynn entertained are with reference to DLC and future free contents. Well, it is too early to conclude about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" plans as of now, after all, the game still has full two months ahead before it releases on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
