"Persona 5" new trailer has been released by Atlus and despite just showcasing the game in just two minutes, players are thrilled and excited for the new palaces and combats included in the game. The said video was released as an overview of various mechanics that can be expected from the new installment.
In the said clip, the focus lies on "Persona 5" palaces, which is the game's version of dungeons. In a previous announcement, an element of stealth is to be expected in the new mechanics of the game. This can happen when players make their way through and take cover in order to get out of there and avoid the foes. Players can also sneak up on them for an ambush. These areas in the palace can be more complicated than the usual narrow corridors which can be seen in past iterations of the game.
For the combat, the player has the ability to speak with the enemies from time to time, aside from battling them. This is different from the Shin Megami Tensei series from where "Persona 5" was spun off, as in this game, a player can talk his way out of the game and demand things such as money or items to fight the enemy.
There are also several times when an enemy can be convinced to join a party which provides a player additional Persona to wield. Engaging in a fight, however, has some repercussions and the trailer shows how one can "pass the baton" to make sure that the character being attacked can help the player fight the enemy.
Stylish menus and visual aesthetics are surely commendable in this two-minute display of an epic game. "Persona 5" will be launched on April 4th for both PS4 and PS3, following the announcement of delay release last November. Watch the full new trailer here:
