Developer Capcom can't do anything about "Resident Evil 7" copies that leaked in the Middle East a week before the official release date. There is a mixed reception in the developer's end about this leak, given that "Resident Evil 7" have been selling like pancakes in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar.

Make no mistake about it, only "Resident Evil 7" PlayStation 4 and Xbox versions are available in this leak. The PC version isn't going to work since it is DRM locked to Steam and will only run once the developer released.

According to RashBandicoot "Resident Evil 7" copies leaked as early as Saturday last week. Copies immediately sold out so other retailers took the prompt and started selling "Resident Evil 7," as well. Retailers know the release schedule well but the premature release simply created a domino effect.

Here is the catch. Players are hoping that nobody will squeal even if there is "Resident Evil 7" leak. Capcom stressed that the strongest asset of "Resident Evil 7" is the storyline that is teeming with secrets and surprises. Unfortunately, some players from GCC region already spoilt it and the element of surprise is gone.

But we are not going to spoil "Resident Evil 7" to keep you hyped. However, you can still risk contracting the spoiler virus by tracing the original posts from 4chan, NeoGAF or "Resident Evil 7" subreddit. Be warned for the second time around, though; storyline is essential element of the game.

Leaks and video games hitting the streets way ahead of schedule happened not just to "Resident Evil 7." One of the recent case of leaks happened to "Final Fantasy XV" when it invaded the gaming community of Peru two weeks ahead of schedule. Luckily for FFXV, it sports a different gameplay compared to "Resident Evil 7." Capcom stressed the secretive nature of the latters storyline while "Final Fantasy XV" has a well-known narrative.
