The Las Vegas CES 2017 is shaping up to be a great one for video game players as ASUS has just unveiled a slew of products, including two new gaming laptops, which expands its Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming series. ASUS introduced the new additions to its renowned ROG gaming line in its Zennovation event at the 2017 CES.
In the Zennovation Las Vegas CES 2017 ASUS event, the tech company unveiled two new gaming laptops as additions to their already impressive line of high-powered gaming laptops. The ROG GX800VH and the ROG G752 were both unveiled at the ASUS Zennovation CES 2017 event.
The new ROG GX800VH ASUS gaming laptop will be powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in 2-way SLI and will be complimented by a Hydro Overclocking liquid-cooling system to ensure extreme overclocking performance.
ASUS' ROG GX800VH features a MechTAG mechanical-switch keyboard which boasts an anti-ghosting with 30-key rollover. The ROG Aura RGB LED effects on the ROG GX800VH may be customized to suit the user's preference. According to ASUS, the ROG GX800VH features an 18-inch panel and will give users real 4K UHD gaming visuals thanks to its NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
Another new ASUS laptop with video game capability introduced during the CES 2017 Zennovation is the ROG G752. The G752 ASUS gaming laptop will have an Intel Core i7 processor under its hood with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU.
The DDR4 DRAM of the ASUS ROG G752 is overclocked to run at 2800MHz. Other key ROG G752 features are its ROG-exclusive 3D Vapor Chamber, PCI Express technology and 120Hz panel. The 120 Hz refresh rates on the ROG G752 ASUS gaming laptop's wide-view panel is thanks to its NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The GPU of the G752 is VR ready.
The ASUS ROG G752 features the latest NVM express technology and will also pack a HyperDrive Raid 0. Another key feature of the ROG G752 is its backlit anti-ghosting keyboard.
