Google has released a version of Chrome Browser for iOS recently. Despite the existence and high efficiency of Apple Safari, the new Chrome has managed to claw its way to the top position at the App Store, which also offers other popular browsers such as Opera and Dolphin. What's more amazing, Chrome has made to the top of the app store with a rating of 4.5 stars, out of more than 4000 ratings.

The new Chrome includes practically all the features one expects after seeing the Android and desktop versions. In fact, one of them is that it can easily sync with the desktop browser on any computer. This is one of the features that bloggers and raters have liked the most, as it turns the desktop version and the mobile one into a single database including all the user might need.

PC World gave an important comment regarding this feature though. They state that Chrome's ability to sync will never be as fast as that of Safari: "Chrome for iOS might be a useful browser if you use it on your desktop already, but don't rush into thinking it could become your default browser on iOS. The reason is that Chrome is slower - and can't be faster - than Safari. This is because Apple is restricting the use of its Nitro JavaScript engine to Safari, while other apps don't have access to it."

However, despite the notable advantage Safari has over Chrome respecting the desktop syncing feature, the latter has definitely become a threat to many browsers, including Safari. It has emboldened Google Chrome's vice president to announce that their new browser was the most popular and loved one.

Nonetheless, let's not forget that this new app has been officially available for users just for a few days, which means it has a long way to go. One of the most threatening browsers for Chrome is Firefox, as Mozilla is developing a new browser version for the iPad. Other than that, the road seems to be pretty clear for Chrome and its outstanding new browser.
