"Shadowhunters" Season 2 premiere exploded with both dramatic and sexy diversity as Jace Wayland hit a few snags in the hunt for his own identity. The New York Institute, convinced that Jace and Valentine are working together all along, had issued a dead or alive order when he comes back. The new head of the NYI sketchily ordered this and several people in the community became skeptic of the decision.
Clary is one of those, who was surprised when she found out that Jace is her brother. She then asked for Simon's assitance to track him down, which resulted to the episodes highlights: Clary asked Simon to run faster but the latter reminded her that he is a vampire and that he is "...running slowly for you, Clary."
It did not took any more moment before they discovered the location of their target; they saw Valentine taking an arrown for Jace as Jocelyn shot the latter. They disappeared through a portal. Clary saw that and but what she was not able to see was when Valentine warped Jace's mind to convince him to join the dark forces and break Accords to kill a vampire. This is after her surrender to the Clave.
Alec, meanwhile, did not really like how Jace disappeared just like that. He spent hours getting mad at world, pushing away everyone who shows care for him, even Magnus! They shared a fight scene in the balcony - something that is far-flung from the big wedding kiss last season. Alec then tried to convince Magnus to help him find Jace, Magnus told him not to be a martyr. Alec tehn asked Magnus: "What do you want from me?"
Good thing, Alec was forced to say sorry when they visited Magnus' apartment as they grew together. Magnus then made sure with Alec that their relationship is something new to him. He said that dating another guy is something he had done for the first time and it is very different from having a relationship with a Shadowhunter for the first time. He then agreed to help find Jace.
Aside from the unexpected romance between Magnus and Alec, Simon told Clary that he is in love with her. He then said that he might be the "worst vampire ever" however, he has finally revealed his secret. So, what do you think about the latest episode of "Shadowhunters" Season 2?
