Ant Man's triumph in performing great at the box office proves that Marvel has what it takes to bring out good superhero movies. This has also led to a second Ant Man in production. Ant Man 2 release date has finally been confirmed for July 8, 2018. However, the date still could be altered with a delay or an early release.

Ant Man 2 will be called as "Ant-Man and the Wasp"

As per now, Marvel does not confirm much about the upcoming movie. But, it is quite assumable that the Wasp will be a part of the movie. Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Sott Lang. He recently portrayed the character in "Captain America: Civil War." Hpe Van Dyne's role played by Evangeline Lilly is also confirmed to come back in the second film.

Ant Man Technology and Quantum Physics

The technology behind shrinking a man to the size of an ant has quite a number of theories behind it. But, the most regarded one is based on a concept in Quantum Physics. As per Dr. Spiros Michalakis of the California Institute of Technology, the vision of shrinking comes through a method of creating smaller atoms.

But, the super human strength portrayed in the movie is not true. Michalakis says that if a human is shrunk to the size of an ant, then he would be really strong as per the size of an ant, but not than a regular human. But, "Ant Man 2" is a movie and fiction is possible in entertainment.

The Aftermath of the "Ant Man 2" release

As per CinemaBlend, Marvel's third phase planning involves shifting of the "Ant Man 2" release date. The date was meant for "Black Panther" movie which is now scheduled for February 16, 2018. This movie is now planned for a release before "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1." And to be honest, this is much more logical keeping in mind the plot.

There is no official trailer for the "Ant Man 2" for now as the movie's production will start in Q1 2017. But, there might soon be a teaser trailer out which would give us a clue of the upcoming Marvel superhero movie. For the time being, let us count on the two other superhero flicks - "Thor: Ragnarok" releasing in October and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" coming out this July.
