"Days of Our Lives" spoilers for the upcoming week of January 2 - 6 of the NBC soap opera hint that some of the Salemites will be welcoming the New Year with a kiss. "Days of Our Lives" will not be airing an episode on Monday, Jan. 2 and will be returning on Tuesday, Jan. 3 with a new episode. Spoilers for the episode reveal that Chad and Abigail will finally adjust to the fact that they are back in each other's arms with a kiss and things will start to heat up between them, reports She Knows Soaps.
On Wednesday, Jan. 4, "DOOL" spoilers tease that there will be updates on the location of Stefano and Rafe will be asked to go to Europe to find out his whereabouts. Joey will also receive comfort from Steve and Kayla.
"Days" spoilers on Thursday hint that Nicole will be saying goodbye to Chloe's baby and she will be having a hard time doing so. On Friday, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers note that Valerie will confront Theo when she discovers the bug that he placed inside her purse.
Aside from Abigail and Chad's kiss on New Year, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that Sonny and Paul will also have their own intimate moment. In an interview with TV Insider, Christopher Sean shared that these two will finally kiss after being away from each other for a long time.
Sean also explained that Derrick was simply there for Paul as a "rebound relationship." He also shared that it would be interesting to see Will return in Salem in the forthcoming episodes of "Days of Our Lives" to see how this would affect Sonny and Paul's relationship.
