Christmas comes with a number of surprises. One of them is from the legendary rock band, U2, which is going to gift its fans with something exciting at its approaching Bonnaroo 2017 Music and Arts festival. The band plans on playing "The Joshua Tree LP" at the concert to mark the celebration of the album's 30th anniversary. Moreover, the Dublin-based Irish rock band U2 is also coming up with the new album named, "Songs of Experience" for its fans in 2017.

Bono and his band members wished their fans on Christmas morning through Facebook. The approaching anniversary of one of the most successful albums of their careers was the perfect time to reveal future plans of the rock group.

The embedded video talks about a number of upcoming shows that are going to be performed by the group at various concerts and festivals. U2 member Bono also revealed that fans won't have to wait for more for their upcoming album, "Songs of Experience." The album is expected to release in 2017.

The new album might also feature U2's latest collaboration with Kygo in "The Best Thing." This could be included in the official tracklist once it comes out. The song was debuted at Cloud 9 festival in August 2016 but is not yet officially released to the public.

The official dates for U2's tours are still not revealed. But according to Billboard, "The Joshua Tree LP"-singing rock band will be performing at a number of US stadiums in the upcoming year. After that, the band will perform a European tour as well. Billboard further reported that U2 will be headlining Bonnaroo in June 2017. In addition, the band will be promoting their concert at a couple of possible dates at Metlife Stadium, New Jersey. We can hardly wait for the upcoming album, "Songs of Experience." Hope the fans are excited as well.
