"Supernatural" Season 12 will return with new episodes on The CW, which will see Sam and Dean Winchester behind bars. In a recent interview, actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki reveal some details about the upcoming episodes of the show, including the Winchester brothers' fate with the British Men of Letters.

"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers reveal that one of the main focus of the upcoming episodes if the British Men of Letters and their relationship with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). There have been speculations that the group was behind the Winchester brothers' imprisonment during the midseason finale.

Series creator Andrew Dabb, however, told TVLine that the British Men of Letters are not involved with their imprisonment. Dabb explained that it was the government that was responsible for it.

This incident will push Sam and Dean to examine their relationship with the British Men of Letters further. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki also previewed that this will be one of the main storylines in "Supernatural" Season 12.

According to Ackles, the Winchester brothers are against the Men of Letters' methods of hunting; however, they will also see that their methods are somewhat effective. "Supernatural" Season 12 will, therefore, see Sam and Dean try to find a middle ground for them and the group.

Meanwhile, Screener reports on the return of The Trickster in "Supernatural" Season 12. While some may be excited to see the fan-favorite character back on The CW drama, the report shows that Richard Speight Jr. will be back on the show as the director.

Speight marked his directorial debut on the show in "Supernatural" Season 12 episode 11. The publication reports that Speight will also be directing an episode, which will air on Feb. 9.

"Supernatural" Season 12 returns on Jan. 26 on The CW.
