Last month's reports have predicted that the next-generation of Samsung Galaxy A5 handset, the 2017 models, will come in four different colors: Blue, Gold, Black, and Pink. Now, it seems like the speculations might actually be correct - if the recent updates are to be taken accurate that is.

According to the report from Phone Arena, the press renders for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) have just been leaked online, and it do come in the colored variants mentioned in the previous predictions.

Other key details for the handset, particularly its specifications, have also been added on the leaked press renders, which was posted on Slashleaks. As what was noted, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will run on an octa-core Exynos 7880 System on Chip (SoC) under its hood, and it is going to be supported by 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage capacity.

On the handset's outer specs, fans can expect its dimension to be at 145 x 71 x 7.8 mm, with a screen size of 5.2-inch and Full HD of display resolution, which is commonly known and referred to as 1080p.

However, GSM Arena has noted that the screen size and the resolution of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) hasn't exactly gone through some changes from its predecessor - and has remained the same. But other aspects have been improved, though, specifically the cameras for it; both rear (main) and front-facing snappers will now come with the same 16 megapixel lenses.

In terms of pricing, it was reported that the phone might be sold to China for 2,699 Yuan, which is roughly around $388 when converted to United States Dollars and €371 for the European market.

As for its release date, sadly, Samsung has yet to officially release the specific date. But some reports believe that the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) might get showcased at the CES 2017 event in Las Vegas, Nevada, in January.
