Moto X Pure or the Motorola Moto X Style (for those outside the US) has been seen running processor benchmark tests ast GFXBench just a few weeks ago. The said version was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, hinting that the update is presently undergoing tests. A possible roll out will come soon. This comes after the Motorola Moto X Play was spotted in the same portal running with Android 7.1 Nougat.

Before the Moto Z line was launched as Motorola's flagship Android smartphone series - there was Moto X. Motorola first rolled out its Moto X phones in August 2013 taking an intriguing route as they focus more on software optimization, which is not the priority of other companies at that point.

Motorola became popular because of this but lagged behind when it comes to ground-breaking specs. The said strategy worked wonders for Motorola but later versions of the Moto X line disappointed a lot of tech-savvy experts as future releases veered away from the original ideology. Still, Moto X remains to be one of the most iconic lines for Android Smartphones in recent history.

The Moto X Pure edition was the last release for that iconic line. It was released in 2015 but it seems like the Motorola company is planning to roll out an updated version, which currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Upon its release, Motorola confirmed it has plans to upgrade it to Moto X Pure Android Nougat 7.1.1 in the future and it is likely to be revealed soon in 2017.

As of the moment, unfortunately, there are no confirmations on the Moto X Pure Android 7.1.1 Nougat release. Even the release date for the earlier leaked Motorola Moto X Play update has not been revealed by the company. It is still unknown if the said two devices will acquire Nougat first. No schedule of release and other details have been set for the said devices.

So far, however, the Motorola company has launched their Nougat updates for various phones such as the Moto Z and the Moto G - both are 4th Gen Smartphones. The said Nougat releases is aligned with the company's roll out plan for 2016. For now, here's a review of the Moto X Pure:
