The well-loved PC game "Roller Coaster Tycoon" is now available as a mobile game on Android and iOS. Originally released back in 1999, the game is now an app game is set to bring players with a lot of nostalgia.

Atari, the game's publisher, announced that "Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic" will soon debut on mobile devices. The upcoming title will be a combination of "Roller Coaster Tycoon" and "Roller Coaster Tycoon 2." With that, players will get to play scenarios from both installments of the series.

Chris Sawyer, the original developer, explained that his team worked with London-based company Origin8 technologies. "It was my long term ambition to bring the classic game to modern touch screen devices as its visual style and tactile nature are so well suited to smartphones and tablets," he tells Polygon.

"Roller Coaster Tycoon" is a classic PC game that pleased many lovers of simulation games. Although it presented less than stellar graphics, the game will soon be available for play on mobile devices. Fans of the title will get to revive their passion for building exciting amusement parks.

However, players will have to pay $6 to download. In addition, it will still include several in-store purchases, such as expansions. As reported by GSM Arena, one of the additions that players can buy from the app is the Toolkit. It is expected to bring additional features that will give players more freedom, like allowing them create their own scenarios and roller coasters for the park. In addition, the Toolkit will enable sharing capabilities and importing saved files. The game is already available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
