Christmas is coming up but it seems like it's not going to a merry one in "The Bold and the Beautiful" soap opera. Drama, tension, and surprises are expected before the week of Dec. 19 closes. For starters, a couple is getting married.

According to "The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will take advantage of the holiday spirit to propose to Brooke (Katherine Lang). He has been waiting for this moment and finally the time has come for him to sweep Brooke off her feet and away from Bill (Don Diamont). After ditching Eric's (John McCook) invitation to gather with the family, Ridge planned a get together with Brooke and RJ (Anthony Turpel). They will celebrate Christmas together and Ridge will pop the question to Brooke.

Brooke will be surprised but she will say yes. Spoilers reveal that Bill will not like the engagement of the two and he will be upset to see Ridge's ring on Brooke's finger so soon. What will Bill's next move be? He may get a busy for the holidays too as his son with Katie (Heather Tom), Will (Zane Achor), will return on "The Bold and the Beautiful" Friday, Dec. 23 episode.

Meanwhile, other "Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers revealed that Eric will also be upset when Christmas comes. All he ever wanted was to gather the family together and do some Christmas caroling. But with all the tension going on in the Forrester family, it's just impossible for now for the whole gang to be at peace with each other. Most of them are still pissed off with the main patriarch for marrying Quinn (Rena Sofer). Apparently, everyone will ditch Eric's invitation including Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

"The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers detailed that Steffy was about to go to Eric's invitation when Liam (Scott Clifton) invited her out to a holiday getaway together. So now Eric will be lonely and upset but it's said that he will get a Christmas miracle. But what will it be? Fans will have to stay tuned and catch the soap opera every Monday to Friday on CBS.
