A lot of Android phones are now getting the new Nougat treatment. But unfortunately, it seems like the roll out did not exactly go smoothly as one might imagine, specifically for Google's 2015 smartphone flagship, the Google Nexus 6P.
Many fans over at the official Google forums and Reddit have reported that their Google Nexus 6P handset has been acting quite peculiar after the Mountain View-based tech giant rolled out its Android 7.0 Nougat update, particularly its early random shutdown.
Some mentioned that the handset has the tendency to shut itself down even if the battery life is at around 50 percent and that it doesn't open even if they try to turn it on again. Many users are now getting a bit worried because of what's happening to the Google Nexus 6P.
Possible workaround for the early shutdown issue of Nexus 6P after the Android 7.0 Nougat roll out
Sadly, the only workaround that fans can use to tackle this problem is to immediately plug the phone using its charger after it shuts down, according to the report from GSM Arena. But for the ones who are always on the go, however, they might have to resort to using a powerbank to keep the phone alive for the time being.
Google, unfortunately, has yet to release any kind of statement regarding the matter - whether they will acknowledge the Android 7.0 Nougat issue on the smartphone or not. So for now, the best thing that fans can do is to post the issue on the Google Product Forums and hope that the tech giant would take notice of the problem sooner rather than later.
It is also best to just wait for further news coming from Google about its plans to fix the early shutdown issues caused by the Android 7.0 Nougat on the Nexus 6P - and probably even an explanation as to why it is happening.
