Square Enix confirmed that Kyohei Suzuki will be working on Final Fantasy 7 Remake as the game director. He is teaming up with Tetsuya Nomura who is still involved in the development of the game while also making Kingdom Hearts 3.
According to AttackOfTheFanboy's translation of Inside-Games, Suzuki has announced on a conference that he is currently working on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake as the game director. Suzuki is a part of Square Enix's Business Division 4 and he also worked on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re: Code. The team is also responsible for the Dissidia Final Fantasy video games on PSP and even Final Fantasy All The Bravest.
In a report from The Bitbag, Square Enix has not provided any updates yet. The game has been confirmed to be released in multiple full-sized games similar to Final Fantasy 13.
Square Enix outsourced the workload of Final Fantasy 15 for its development. With this, the game had an early release and received positive reviews from fans and critics. However, Final Fantasy 15 leaks showed that there were cut content in the game leading to this quick release. Fans have also noticed some deficiency in the game - might be due to the rushed production.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a long way to work on due to the release in its multiple parts. The fans are expecting the first part of the game to be out this 2017, taking place at the same time with the 20th anniversary of the original game on PSOne.
To what extent the parts of the game will be is still uncertain but Square Enix is assuring that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be a great one.
With the two creative minds to make the game - what a production boost, could we expect a speedy release back-to-back with enhanced quality this coming year?
Tune in for more updates!
