Stephanie del Valle from Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016 in a three-hour show that was held in Maryland, USA. Dominican Republic's representative, Yaritza Reyes Ramirez was crowned first princess, while Indonesia's Nathasha Manuella takes the second princess crown for the second straight time for her country.

Heavy-favorite Catriona Gray from the Philippines finished as third runner-up while Kenya's Evelyn Thungu rounded out the Top 5. Brazil, Belgium, USA, China PR, Korea and Mongolia completed the Top 11 and were lauded as semifinalists while Australia, France, Ghana, Hungary, India, Japan, Thailand and Slovakia were called as part of the Top 20 quarterfinalists.

Miss World 2016 Fast Track Winners: Miss World 2016 reinstated the fast track system - they held a series of events and activities throughout their entire stay in the United States. It composed of five events: Multimedia, Sports, Beauty with a Purpose, Top Model and Talent. Winners of these events go straight through the Top 20.

Sports: Cook Islands - Nathalia Short; Multimedia: Philippines - Catriona Gray; Beauty with a Purpose: Indonesia - Nathasha Manuella; Top Model: China PR - Kong Jing; Talent: Mongolia: Bayartsetseg Altangerel. Mongolia's Bayartsetseg Altangerel also won the People's Choice, which ultimately included her into the Top 10.

Miss World 2016 Continental Queens: At the gala dinner, Miss World Organization also announced the winners of the continental titles - they are the girls who finished the highest in their respective regions. The winners were: Miss World Africa - Kenya's Evelyn Thungu; Miss World Americas - USA's Audra Mari; Miss World Asia - Indonesia's Nathasha Manuella; Miss World Oceania - Australia's Madeline Crowe; Miss World Europe - Belgium's Lenty Frans and Miss World Caribbean - Puerto Rico's Stephanie del Valle.
