"Grimm" Season 6 is set to return on screen in January 6, featuring much darker scenes than the last season. It has been said that death and war will be given more attention in the new chapter of the NBC series. Also, more twist and turns are expected to happen.

Nick Bukhardt (David Giuntoli) will have an encounter with Sean Renard (Sasha Ruiz) in Season 6 as what is shown in the latest trailer. Sean is projected to realize his plans for the city. He is rumored to do terrible things for the people under him in his new term as the mayor. Apart from it Monroe together with Rosalee will have a complicated situation and are set to bring in their hybrid child. Bonaparte's demise on the other hand is just one of the deaths in the highly anticipated show.

Moreover, a romantic relationship between Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette Silverton) and David Giuntoli might be developed. Juliette who has been believed to be dead is going to reprise her role in the "Grimm"Season 6 which would possibly create conflict to kill off Adalind in the series. It can be recalled that Season 5 ended with Nick having a relationship with Adalind. However, since Season 1, Juliette is Nick's love interest.

In the trailer, it seems like Eve and Nick are planning for something. It also appears that she is still the Eve Hadrian's Wall formed but with a piece of Juliette's character. Probably, her ability would not be as powerful as before but she can still be an important part of the team especially now that the Wesen Nacht begun.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Guintoli, he revealed that he will be directing one of the episodes of the next season which made him very much confident that Season 6 is better than the previous ones.

"Well, for one thing, I'm going to direct for the first time next season, so I'm a little more in the loop. It'll be the first episode after we return from hiatus, though we're shooting out of order so it will air as our third episode. Weirdly enough, they don't trust me to do the season premiere!"

"Grimm" Season 6 might be the show's season finale and the lead actor hinted that it would definitely end in a "perfect way."

"We're getting to the end. Nothing lasts forever. But here's the exciting thing about that: Our writers will be able to give us a really cool ending. We have time to wrap it up in a wonderful, perfect way, for all of our characters. We will go out big and we will go out strong."

Don't miss "Grimm" Season 6 on NBC next year, January 6.
