Apple always comes with its own features and limitations. The Apple Watch Nike+ and the Samsung Fitbit Flex 2 are both second-generation, waterproof fitness wearables. However, the only similarity comes with a lot of different features. Let's compare both the wearables.

Fitbit Flex 2 is simply an activity tracker whereas Apple Watch Nike + is a fitness and tech amalgamation. Apple powers the technology while Nike takes care of the user experience and feel of the watch while exercising.

Coming to the design, Nike+ comes with the lightest possible matte-finish aluminium casing and OLED display like an entry level Apple Watch.

On the other hand, the Fitbit Flex 2 has a slim band (measures just 0.44 inch thick and lacks a screen display) with a removable tracker that can be placed into interchangeable accessories like necklaces and bracelets.

Both the bands are also made for swimming activities. They are water-resistant up to 50 meters deep, or about 160 feet.

The Flex 2 and Nike+ comes with features like activity tracking, reminders to move and notification for call or message on phone.

Rivalling the Fitbit Flex 2, Apple has extra features like Built-in GPS, Heart rate monitoring, Apps download features from Apple's App store. Additionally, Nike has taken the burden of improving the watchband. The fluoroelastomer band is far more perforated than Apple's own Sport bands.

When it comes to power, Fitbit Flex 2 takes the lead with five days battery life, depending on usage. While, Apple Watch Nike+ has only 18 hours battery life.

The Apple Watch Nike+ starts at $369 and the Fitbit Flex 2 starts at $99.95.

Summing up, the Fitbit Flex is recommended for Android users looking for a straightforward tracker at an affordable cost. However, if you want the best band on your wrist for doing exercise, go for the Apple Watch Nike+.
