Fans of Katy Perry are all excited to hear news about her new album, however, there have been reports that it would likely to be released after her marriage with boyfriend Orlando Bloom.

According to a media source, Katy Perry's release schedule for her new album was confirmed by her manager last spring.

"Although Katy Perry is still supporting her 'Prism' album across the globe, her manager has confirmed that the pop superstar's fourth full-length is not too far off - as in, it could be here in eight months," Billboard reported in May 2015.

However, given that signal, fans have been continuously waiting for any new updates.

"I do my records in a more traditional way, where the cycle is three years, so that once I start writing them, I know exactly where I'll be in spring of 2018," Katy told the New York Timesearlier this year.

"I'm in the research and development phase," Perry said in February 2016. "I've been going at it for eight or nine years in the spotlight, and then before that there's that decade of hustle that never gets recognised but still shows up in your wrinkles.

"So right now I'm taking a little time. I don't want to jump on any trends. I just need to evolve," the singer added.

However, recent rumors surface that Katy Perry's preparation for her album will be delayed due to her coming wedding with actor Orlando Bloom. Rumors started when the 32-year-old singer was spotted with yellow-diamond jewel on her wedding finger in New York City.

"She (Katy) walked with her left hand leading her, and bent her hand to show off the large sparkler to the cameras," a source told Entertainment Weekly. "Katy's mood was better than [I] had seen before. Katy was happy and laughing, joking with Orlando and pals as they got into the car.

"[Orlando] always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways," an insider said. "[He] would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since [ex-wife] Miranda [Kerr]."

However, there were no official statements from both Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom for this marriage rumor.
