"Orange is the New Black" is expected to return on 2017. However latest reports suggested that the prison drama TV series will not be aired on Netflix next year as the network has given up the segment to HBO.

Moving on, it was earlier reported that the series might be cancelled due to doubts of still getting high ratings but lately rumors are rife that the series has been renewed up to seventh season and that the most awaited Season 5 is already filming in Hudson Valley.

With this, many believed that the cliffhangers from the previous season will be answered but fans have to wait a little longer as the series won't be aired very soon.

There were speculations suggesting that the show's production has been postponed for few days now because the casts and crews are not in good terms especially Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon. It has been said that Schilling is always absent because she is jealous with Prepon for directing one of the series' episodes.

Moreover, in the upcoming season of "Orange is the New Black" rumors have it that Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) will die and that a new plot will be offered by the show's executives, introducing new characters to fans.

Meanwhile, Lory Petty's Lolly who was last spotted in the psychiatric ward might have a comeback in the new season.

"I certainly hope so. I do think we will. I can't say for sure, but I absolutely think we will. They are just now filming episode one [of season five] and you know how we ended season four. They have a lot to deal with right now! I'm just waiting on the phone call to get back on the plane. I'm sure it will come, but we have 13 episodes and they've got a lot to take care of, so we'll see," Lolly told The Hollywood Reporters.

Tasha Jefferson (Danielle Brooks), on the other hand, is said to be more aggressive and will avenge the death of her friend Poussey Washington (Samira Wiley).

Rumors about the "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 are yet to be confirmed by the showrunners.
