The iPhone protective case market is controlled by Otterbox, a company that created a booming business around creating ultra-protective cases for the device. These days competition is stronger than ever as other companies are entering with new and innovating ultra-protective iPhone cases. The latest is iSkin, who not too recently announced Fuze case, which will go up against everything Otterbox has to offer at a low cost.
The new ultra-protective Fuze case from iSkin looks great, and comes in multiple colors for those who like to blend their mobile device in with what they wear. What's great about these cases is how it offers solid protection with design that is quite low profile and not too intrusive. Some cases offer great protection, but users have to remove these cases to do some of common tasks. With Fuze case, users can use it with speaker docks and Apple Universal Dock, no need to remove the case. iSkin made this possible by making the Fuze case thin, but still durable. Expect others to follow suit not too long from now.
There are two version of the Fuze case, the standard version which will be sold for $49.99, and Fuze SE, which has a brush aluminum front plate, will go for $59.99. Not too shabby, if you ask us.
Ever heard of the Lifeproof case that cost a whopping $80? The concept and design is pretty similar, but what sets the Lifeproof apart from iSkin Fuze is added waterproof protection and integrated screen cover.
We know after reading the above information you cannot wait to get your sweaty palms on one these Fuze cases. However, you'll have to wait. The cases haven't shipped out yet, but when they do, iSkin will be offering $10 off the Fuze SE, and $5 off the standard Fuze until May 24, 2012.
