With what a high demand for thin yet powerful smartphones, Huawei just launch another 6-inch model in its Mate series.

The Huawei Mate 8 garnered praises from its consumers because of its 16MP rear camera. The Chinese company even described Mate 8 as "the best optical image stabilization available." Considering the success of recent Mate phone, Huawei Mate 9 is expected to supersede the success of its predecessor because of its admirable features.

According to Pocket Lint, Huawei indeed levels up the specifications of the upcoming Mate 9. Compared to Mate 8's main camera, the mate successor phone has dual cameras. The new Mate phone will have a 12MP color and 20MP B&W camera sensors. Both smartphones have an 8MP front camera.

The camera feature of Huawei Mate 9 is reportedly the same as the P9 smartphone which was released earlier this year. To have the camera sensors, Huawei has an ongoing established partnership with Leica. Although Mate 9 and P9 have almost the same camera features, reports say that Huawei Mate 9 will produce better photo quality because it has a 20-megapixel B&W sensor higher resolution.

On the other hand, Mate 9 is more powerful in terms of platform compared to Huawei Mate 8. The new Huawei Mate phone is equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset while its predecessor has a HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset, GSM Arena reported.

Huawei Mate 8 was released with Android OS version 6.0 (Marshmallow) but Mate 9, the smartphone is launched having an Android OS version 7.0 (Nougat). Reports say that the two Mate phones are almost similar in design. Although Mate 8 and Mate 9 measures 7.9mm thick, the Huawei Mate 8 is lighter than its successor.

After the comparison of tech experts, it is suggested that the Huawei Mate 9 will have the same success as Huawei Mate 8. The new Mate phone is now up for grabs in the market.
