The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro and the Galaxy C9 Pro are brewing some tough competition in the mid-range smartphone category. In this report, we have pitted both the Galaxy Pro devices against each other in order to the best buy option when it comes to specs and features.

To start with, both the Galaxy C9 Pro and the Galaxy A9 Pro feature a 6-inch display screen with Super AMOLED display panel and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

When it comes to performance-related specs, the Galaxy A9 Pro consists of Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor along with an octa-core Cortex CPU and Adreno 510 GPU. It also features 4 GB RAM capacity and internal storage option of 32 GB, which is expandable up to 256 GB. On the other hand, the Galaxy C9 Pro sports a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset and 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal memory.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Pro devices feature a 16-megapixel primary camera. But the A9 Pro has an 8-megapixel whereas the C9 Pro phone features a bigger 16-megapixel front camera.

The Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 surpasses the Galaxy C9 Pro with a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery, which provides a talk time of up to 33 hours even with the use of 3G connectivity while the latter Samsung phone sports a battery capacity of 4000 mAh.

As far as software is concerned, both the Samsung Galaxy Pro smartphones feature Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

To sum up, it can be stated that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has an upper hand on the Galaxy C9 Pro device in terms of battery, whereas the latter is at par or somewhat better in terms of display, processor, camera, and operating system.
