It has been nearly a decade since fans have seen the last episode of "Prison Break." But now, spoilers reveal that the overdue Season 5 is only a few months before its release. Some even suggest that Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) will rise from the dead.
According to a report, Fox Co-Chairman and CEO Dana Walden just confirmed the release date of '"Prison Break" Season 5. According to her, it will be released in 2016 with 10 episodes and there is a tendency the title of the show will change to "Heroes: Reborn."
Walden described Season 5 as a bit of a sequel. She said that the season will pick up several years later from where we left it. She also broke the news for fans that, Miller and Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) will be back together. Along with the favorite duo, other iconic characters will return too.
"He's been up to some not-so-nice things and there's a question as to whether or not he's even qualified to be considered a good man," explained Miller about his character on the upcoming season.
"And it will also be quite different as the characters have changed, so my character in particular is no longer just a hero - he's a few other things as well. I think the fans will get a kick out of it," he added.
