The two selfie camera phones will battle it out today. The recent launch of the Vivo V5 with 20MP selfie camera has rivalled the Oppo F1s marketed as the ultimate selfie camera phone.
Which one will you choose?
Similarity doesn't end only with selfie camera as both phones have the same 5.5" IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720X1280 resolution. However, the Oppo F1s comes with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, while the Vivo V5 has an unspecified version of Gorilla Glass.
Both feature a tweaked version of Android OS, Oppo F1s have ColorOS 3.0, based on Android 5.1 while Vivo V5 runs on Android 6.0 based Funtouch OS 2.6.
In terms of processor, the selfie expert Oppo F1s is powered by a octa-core Mediatek MT6750 clocking at 1.5 GHz. While, the Vivo V5 packs with octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset.
The Oppo F1s offers 32 GB inbuilt storage with 3GB of RAM. It offers dedicated microSD card support up to 256GB. Whereas, Vivo comes with 32GB in-built storage having 4GB RAM. Vivo V5 uses Sim 2 slot as microSD slot up-to 256GB.
The Vivo V5 features a 13MP main camera with phase detection autofocus, LED flash, and a stunning 20MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture and ½.8" sensor size.
Oppo gets interesting in the camera department, where the front shooter actually boasts a higher-res sensor with a 16MP imager mated with an f/2.0 lens. On the back, you have a 13MP camera with LED flash.
The Oppo F1s comes with 3075 mAh non-removable battery while the Vivo V5 is packed with 3,000mAh battery.
The price of the Vivo V5 is said to be slightly higher than the Oppo F1s. While Oppo seems to have an edge with large screen, sleek and bezel finish design and a great selfie camera, the Vivo V5 has its amazing music and a slightly better selfie camera.
