Both the Asus ZenFone 3 Laser and the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt are recent launches in 2016. Coming from big names in the industry, here is a nuts and bolts comparison between the two smartphones.
Looking at the physical design, The Samsung Galaxy smartphone is taller and denser than the Asus ZenFone 3. The Asus smartphone is wider and a bit sleeker in design as per NDTV Gadgets. Unlike other Samsung smartphones, the Korean giant has not added the AMOLED panel on its Galaxy On Nxt smartphone.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is powered by 64 bit 1.4 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 whereas the Samsung smartphone is powered by 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870. It seems the Samsung Galaxy smartphone holds the edge when it comes to faster CPU speed.
The ZenFone 3 Laser has better RAM capacity than OnNxt model, which makes it better for running of multi-applications simultaneously. However, the Samsung Galaxy smartphone has twice the expandable storage capacity compared to Asus ZenFone 3 model.
Samsung Galaxy On Nxt tops the charts when it comes to battery capacity though Asus ZenFone 3 Laser does pack a decent battery capacity as per Mobile Indian. Samsung Galaxy smartphone is also only one smartphone which has a removable battery option. Users can themselves replace the battery in the Samsung smartphone when the battery performance degrades or when a spare battery is required for any task.
Among the two, Asus ZenFone 3 Laser seems to be the only one supporting FM radio. It also remains the only smartphone among the two to support HD Video recording.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser and the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt are closer in terms of specifications, even if they come from two different brands. Both the smartphones show comparable performance and more or less equal in much features. With the prices also comparable, the choice between these two smartphones more or less would depend on either brand preferences or personal preferences.
