Without a shadow of a doubt, the MacBook Pro has been one of Apple's most successful and popular laptops for a long time. Since its launch, every update brought in a new element or component to fuel its power. With the last update to the computer being in May 2015, most are anticipating something exciting about the MacBook Pro.
Rumors have been consistent that Apple is planning for a major upgrade to MacBook Pro. There are reports mentioning the new machine could potentially come with Touch ID sensor, fingerprint sensor, organic light-emitting diode touch bar and slight changes to its existing design. Apple could also be relinquishing the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the new MacBook Pro, as we seen in iPhone 7. It would be logical to assume that Apple would be saying goodbye to the port from rest of its products as well. As per the Tech Radar, the sixth generation Sky lake chips are expected to make their way , which helps in massive speed improvements. With a better a battery life, the performance could be more than just impressive.
Guess the waiting time is over! According to Mac Rumors, the Cupertino-based company is expected to release a major upgrade in early October to the MacBook Pro line up. There is a probability of having the release delayed a bit, depending on the Apple's progress with the desktop operating system MacOS Sierra. The expectation is the new update would include new tools and specs to support new features of MacBook Pro.
However, how the company plans to release the new update is not yet clear. The likely plan would be to hold a press event to unveil the new MacBook Pro, with a huge possibility that an event will be happening in October. Stay tuned for more updates on the MacBook Pro!
