Google revealed its fun side by launching a new Easter Egg game on Friday. Typing "zerg rush" will return search results for the unusual term. But there is something more surprising on the search result page. Within a second or two, small-sized Os appear on the screen and start eating up all your search results one by one.

The player's mission is to kill all the O's by clicking on them. In the beginning, a single small army unit of O's will attack first search result entry. Subsequently more and more O's will enter the battle field to wipe out all the search results from the screen. At the end of game, two big G's, which is a gaming slang for "good game," will appear on the screen with a score result. Users can also share the score on Google+ directly from the game.

Zerg Rush is a simple game with a big appeal on the Internet. It is addictive and have been in the news as it turned out to be the top search term on Google.

Knowyourmeme.com describes "Zerg" as a notorious race in popular real-time strategy (RTS) game - Starcraft. Zerg race is known for its ability to produce more offensive clones in a short time period. Zergs is a brutal alien force that wants to destroy the entire galaxy in the 90's Starcraft game.
