The original "BioShock" game was widely received by gamers back in 2007 as it provided epic fps experience and equally engaging and interesting story. The next two games in the series did the same; but will getting them in a bundle in the form of "BioShock:The Collection" be worth it?

Popular gaming sites like IGN gave "BioShock" a very high rating of 9.7 out 10 along with the second being 9.1, and "Infinite" being 9.5. Every "BioShock" game is a unique masterpiece that stands quite highly among the hundreds of first person shooters.

For those wondering, "BioShock: The Collection" is a complete bundle of all three games, somewhat remastered and includes all DLC content ever released. For hardcore fans, getting the bundle is a no-brainer, but for some, especially newcomers, is "BioShock: The Collection" worth looking at?

In a video below, a brief comparison is shown on how the first game stood the test of time and surprisingly enough, it did. Be sure to watch the video below in the highest possible resolution to see the differences.

On its own, "BioShock: The Collection" is already an epic game collection in its own merit, remastered or not. However, for those who are looking to find an entirely different game in aesthetic sense, "BioShock: The Collection" may fall a bit short.

The first "BioShock" game, as shown on the trailer, appears to have big changes in lighting and overall resolution and textures, but for the other two games, seeing the differences may take a bit more effort and would actually be subjective to different eyes.

With some noticing the absence of improved FOV (Field of View), modern Anti-Aliasing and anisotropic methods, the game still felt pale compared to the games being released today, including a select indie titles.

Gamers may also need to take note that neither "BioShock 2" or "BioShock: Infinite" are getting any new content. The multiplayer mode from "BioShock 2" has been removed, but this couldn't be much of a deal-breaker to most fans.

All in, "BioShock: The Collection" may still be a great game to get, especially for those who surprisingly have not played the game to this day. For returning players, the major overhaul that the first game got should be enough to draw them in, which pretty much makes up for the absence of real new content on the second and third game.

Priced at $59.99, which is just slightly a bit higher than a standard retail game today, "BioShock: The Collection" still offers amazing content and experience, making the price exceedingly justified.
