In the recent Apple event that was held a couple of days ago, there was not a single hint or mention of the Apple car. This wasn't as surprising to some as the idea was a bit too far fetched at the moment, but professionals still look to its possibility with credit.
Truth to be told, a survey result collected via Forbes indicated that a huge number of people are considering and will consider buying a car made by the iPhone giant or even from the search engine king Google.
While these data are all good, some were just disappointed with the lack of clue provided for the development progress or let alone, plans on making one for Apple. The Apple Car, or currently dubbed as "Project Titan," is still nowhere in the boundaries of a real project or a concept.
With nowhere else to look at for clues, consumers and those who are considering the Apple Car may find Ali Cam's concept of the Apple Car instead for the mean time. A fully autonomous car with no wheels, battery or engine that is. Funny enough that it don't seem like it has "windows."
The design looks extremely minimalist to the point that the whole Autonomous thing is highly emphasized. Not only does it look sleek, but Cam also provided some contextual details regarding the potential design of the Apple Car, which he called Apple Car 2076.
The concept behind the Apple Car 2076 was heavily based on the year of Apple's existence from the year that Steve Jobs along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne founded the company.
It is speculated to include features like Touch ID for opening the car's door, maglev (magnetic levitation) capabilities for propulsion and an interior packed with Apple's current and possibly, future technology.
At this point, there's still no information whether the Apple Car will actually be made or if Apple will admit to create or consider creating one in the future.
