Saitama, the most powerful hero alive, might lose all his abilities in the eagerly anticipated "One Punch Man" season 2. Latest reports claimed that there will be a huge shift in the storyline of the upcoming season.
'One Punch Man' Season 1
The first season of "One Punch Man" aired in Japan from October 5 to December 21, 2015. Saitama met Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, when the Mosquito Girl attacked the city during the events of the House of Evolution Arc.
Much to Genos surprised, Saitama crushed the Mosquito Girl with just one slap. After witnessing Saitama's unbelievable power, Genos asked the protagonist to make him his apprentice. Reluctant at first, the latter agreed to take the former on after Genos clarified that he wanted to be taught to become as strong as Saitama.
Saitama and Genos registered with the Hero Association. The former enlisted as a C-Class Superhero and eventually made a big leap as a B-Class Superhero, while the latter is registered as an S-Class hero at rank 14.
'One Punch Man' Season 2
There are many speculations about the plot of "One Punch Man" season 2. It is said that Saitama will finally meet his match in the next season as he will reportedly face several compelling assaults from his foes.
Rumors afloat that Saitama will go head-to-head against Garou. The latter's essential goal is to pursue down the top ranking heroes from the S-Class down to the A-Class list.
It will also be revealed that Garou never liked superheroes and constantly supported monsters in light of his sympathy for their ambitions. He is a former disciple of S-Class Superhero Silver Fang, but was kicked out from his Dojo for going on a rampage.
As a result, Saitama will lose his overpowered capabilities, according to Movie News Guide. Hence, Genos will presumably be the central figure in the upcoming season of "One Punch Man."
Meanwhile, Manga Panda reported that the second season might premiere after the English dubbed version of "One Punch Man" season 1 wraps up. It is said that the creator is just waiting for the dubbed version to end and will launch the second season immediately.
While nothing is impossible, the reports ought to be taken with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more "One Punch Man" news and updates.
