The Samsung Z1 consists of a 4-inch screen with IPS LCD display and 800 x 480 pixels resolution. Whereas the Z2 phone features a 4-inch screen coupled with an IPS LCD display panel with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the Samsung Z3 sports a 5-inch screen with a Super AMOLED display panel and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
In terms of performance-related specs, the Samsung Z1 sports a Spreadtrum SC7727S chipset along with 768 MB RAM. Whereas, the Z2 phone consists of a Spreadtrum SC9830 processor along with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage as compared to the Z3's Spreadtrum SC7730 chipset with same RAM and internal on board.
Furthermore, the Samsung Z2 excels in the camera specs with a 5-megapixel rear and a VGA front camera as compared to the Z1 phone's 3-megapixel rear and a VGA front camera. On the other hand, the Z3 smartphone consists of an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. All the three smartphones consists of additional features like High Dynamic Range mode, autofocus, capturing pictures during video recording, video calling, and Digital image stabilization.
In terms of software specs, all the three Samsung smartphones consist of Tizen OS but with different versions. The Z2 phone sports the upgraded Tizen OS v2.4 whereas the other two Z1 and Z3 devices feature the Tizen OS V2.3.
