With few days left for the start of the new NBA season, the latest trade rumors hinted that the Chicago Bulls might swap Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor with their power forward Taj Gibson. Reports claimed that the Bulls are planning to make their roster more young and athletic in order to become the best team in the NBA league.

According to the Bulls General Manager Gar Forman in order to defeat other teams and provide them tough competition, Bulls will look out and add younger players in their team, reported Chat Sports. The main reason behind this is that the Bulls want to improve the health status of their players as they have already been plagued by injuries of many players in the past few seasons.

To add to the trade rumors, it is stated that the Bulls are eyeing Okafor for his on-court defensive and offensive skills, which will complement with other players like Dwyane Wade, Rajan Rondo, and Jimmy Butler. The Sixer Sense also hinted that the Bulls might even think of giving a chance to Okafor over Robin Lopez in the upcoming NBA season.

Meanwhile, there are reports that in order to bring in Okafor, the Bulls might enter a three-way deal with the Sacramento Kings and the Philadelphia 76ers. Reports claimed that the 76ers currently have many center players and are ready to trade away one of them. Also, the Philadelphia team is stated to be in need of a small forward player and is thus eyeing the Kings' Rudy Gay in exchange for Okafor.

Furthermore, the Kings want to improve their roster and make their frontcourt strong. This has paved the way for the trade rumors that the Kings will bring in Gibson from the Chicago Bulls and thus give them the acquired asset from 76ers which is Jahlil Okafor.
