Have you experienced getting bombarded with constant iPhone notifications? Annoying isn't it? Well, Apple's Focus feature on iOS 15 got you on this, and with that, you're one step away from filtering out distractions to "focus" on what really matters most.
To set up the Focus modes, here's what you need to do.

For iPhone users, Focus mode is a game-changer if you want to get rid of distractions that affect your tasks. For this part, you only need to allow alerts that are essential and remove or let's say, mute the rest.
Whether you are working, sleeping, or simply taking it easy, Focus helps your device fit into your rhythm.

Share Across Devices
Enable Share Across Devices to sync your Focus settings on all Apple devices logged into your Apple ID. This ensures a seamless experience across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Focus Status
Turn on Focus Status and alert others when you silence notifications. For example, using iMessage, contacts will get a message saying their "notifications are silenced." In case of an urgency, though, they can still "Notify Anyway."
Control Center Access
You may turn on Focus immediately from the Control Center:
- Swipe down at the right-hand corner from the top.
- Tap Focus and then your preferred mode.
- Customize the length by tapping such options as "For 1 hour" or "Until I leave this location."
Refining Your Focus Experience
Removing or Editing Focus Modes
To delete a mode you no longer use:
- Navigate to Settings > Focus.
- Tap Select the mode then Delete Focus
- You can always add new ones or modify ones you have depending on what your needs might be.
Using Siri to Control Remotely
Activate or deactivate Focus modes with a few words to Siri. Such as, "Hey Siri, turn on Work Focus" and Siri will do it for you.
Why You Should Love Focus Mode
Focus mode removes digital clutter and boosts productivity and awareness. Whether you are working on an item, spending time with the family, or winding down before bed, Focus prevents disruptions unless absolutely necessary.
