The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that three teams, namely the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings, and Boston Celtics might enter a pact wherein they will exchange players to build up their roster before the start of the new season.

Sports Rageous reported that in the rumored three-team trade, the Cavaliers will send their power forward Kevin Love to the Boston Celtics and will get Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins. Reports claimed that the Celtics are expected exchange point guard Marcus Smart and small forward Jae Crowder as well.

The major reason behind the trade among the three teams is to choose perfect players for their team and at the same time address salary cap issues. Also, reports claimed that the Cleveland Cavaliers are impressed with Cousins' recent performance at the ongoing Rio Olympics Games 2016 and hence have decided to bring him in.

Even LeBron James is reportedly in favor of the trade and suggested teaming up with Cousins in exchange for Love. It is stated that the 25-year-old player will thus improve the Cavs roster with the help of his defensive and offensive on-court skills.

Furthermore, there are rumors that even the Sacramento Kings will benefit from the possible potential three-team trade. Fansided reported that Smart and Crowder will help the Kings to enhance their frontcourt performance and thus provide tough competition to other players in the NBA league.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics will reportedly team up Love with their star-player Al Horford in order to improve their front court defense while Isaiah Thomas will execute his game play from the other end.

However, no official statement has been made so far about the three-team deal. Stay tuned here for more updates on the NBA trade rumors involving Kevin Love and DeMarcus Cousins.
