Famous French designer Philippe Starck cheered up Apple fans in an interview with French radio channel France Info by saying that he is working with Apple on a "revolutionary" product. But Apple has denied that the company is involved in any type of project with Philippe Starck.

A spokeswoman for the Cupertino-based tech giant told AllThingyD on Friday that Philippe Starck is not involved in any type of project with Apple Inc. This is a clear blow to all the dreams that Apple fanboys were having, of gadgets that Starck could possibly be working on with Apple.

Earlier, the French designer said he is working on a "revolutionary" Apple product that will come out within next 8 months. Folks at Apple do not recognize what Starck is really talking about. In his interview, Stark mentioned that he used to visit Steve Jobs once every month for seven months before his death. He added that he still travels to California to visit Job's widow Laurene Powell.

It is to be noted that the former Apple CEO wanted a yacht with some unique design. So, he hired Starck for designing a yacht. Netherlands-based luxury super-yacht builder "Feadship" was given the task to assemble a new yacht based on Starck's design. Somehow Job's yacht work was not completed before his death. This explanation perfectly fits the criteria that why the France-based designer used to fly to U.S. every month and why he still continues to visit Laurene Powell in California. But this product is not revolutionary at all. Also technically, we cannot call it as Apple product.

Apple has a kind of secretive nature where products are only revealed at an official event at debut time. But before the debut, no official note is released and people associated with Apple keep their lips glued and don't reveal anything about the new iGadget. On the other hand, Philippe Starck is always eager to add new products to his portfolio. Other than his creative designs, Starck is also popular for making a buzz about his products.
