The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Boston Celtics might bring in Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap. Reports claimed that the Celtics are planning to rebuild their team in order to provide a tough competition to other teams, which have talented players like the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Morning News USA reported that the Celtics might trade their No. 3 NBA draft pick Jaylen Brown along with Kelly Olynyk to Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Millsap. Reports claimed that the Boston Celtics is eyeing Millsap and recently acquired Al Horford partnership in order to form a defensive gameplay in the frontcourt. It is also stated that the Horford and Millsap partnership will place the Boston Celtics at the No. 2 position in the East NBA league.
Furthermore, the Celtics are positive that Millsap will get along really well with their team's coach Brad Stevens, because of their common defense-based strategic gameplay mentality.
Nevertheless, according to Today Fast Break, the 31-year-old player might himself choose to leave Hawks because of the increasing trade pressure and join Howard.
Meanwhile, there are reports that even the Atlanta Hawks are actively looking out for a perfect trade option in exchange of Paul Millsap. It is stated that the President Mike Budenholzer wants to add younger players in his team and thus Brown and Olynyk combination will prove as the perfect trade option.
But, the Boston Celtics is not the only team looking forward to bring in Millsap. The NBA trade rumors hinted that the Toronto Raptors are also interested in trading the 31-year-old player. To add on to that, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe even the Denver Nuggets are keen to ink a deal with the Atlanta Hawks. Lowe said that the Nuggets are considering the idea of trading their power forward Kenneth Faried in order to acquire the Hawks All-star Millsap.
