Even though the new iPad Pro 9.7 might look similar to its predecessor iPad Air 2, it consists of many transformational specs like Smart Keyboard, Smart Connector, and Apple Pencil. Many critics claimed that these new additions in terms of design features and specs have provided the tablet an edge over other Apple's devices.

The iPad Pro 9.7 tablet design is almost the same as that of the iPad Air 2, except for a few changes. It sports thin dimensions and polished aluminum frame along with bolder edges. The Apple tablet also features the similar home screen button in order to provide you with fingerprint scanning functionality.

Furthermore, the iPad Pro 9.7 tab has the lightning port at the bottom. However, the tablet features design changes like the addition of four stereo speakers at the top and bottom for amplified music experience. It also has a Smart Connector port on the left side.

In terms of processor specs, the new iPad Pro version consists of the Apple A9X processor, which makes the device significantly faster than the iPad Air 2 model. It also features up to 256GB of storage starting with 32 GB base version.

As far as display is concerned, the new Apple tablet consists of a 9.7-inch LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with 2048 x 1536 resolutions at 264 pixels per inch. The tablet also sports True Tone display, which automatically adjusts the white balance. It also provides you with wide range of color options with its anti-reflective coated glass.

The Apple device also excels in terms of camera specs with a 12-megapixels rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with True Tone LED flash.

In addition, the iPad Pro 9.7 device also supports the Apple Pencil and Apple Smart Keyboard functionalities. Also, the tablet consists of the iPad 9.7-exclusive Rose Gold color along with the regular options like Silver, Gold and Space Gray.

The iPad Pro 9.7 is priced for $599 for the 32 GB variant, $749 for 128 GB storage capacity device and $899 for 256 GB variant.
