Exciting news awaits "Teen Wolf" fans. When the series returns for Season 6, it is going to reveal a new set of villains, including the Ghost Riders.
However, this isn't the average Ghost Rider, and neither the one played by Nicolas Cage. These are the supernatural beings who will be the main villains of this season, along with the Nazi Werewolves, according to Carter Matt.
Notably, director Jeff Davis teased fans about these mysterious beings who will move into Beacon Hills on horseback, to terrorize its residents once again.
"The idea is that the Wild Hunt passes through your town and if you see the Ghost Riders, they'll take you with them and make you part of the hunt," Davis says.
"They pick up the dead as well. They serve different mythological functions, but for us, they bring a lot of danger to Beacon Hills when this storm of Ghost Riders gets stuck," he continued according to Entertainment Weekly.
When asked about the count of mysterious beings, Davis mentioned that there will be an unlimited number. However, they will have "a very specific talent that is unique to them," which the viewers haven't seen any other creature on "Teen Wolf" do.
Meanwhile, Tyler Posey added that the Ghost Riders are in Beacon Hill for a specific reason. However, unlike other villains of the show, the Ghost Riders can be considered as henchmen.
Moreover, the Ghost Riders are not violent unlike other villains. "One of the coolest things about them is their myth is quite different, and you'll see how it plays into this season," Davis says. "Our mythologies tend to get pretty bloody. This is surprisingly one of the less bloody seasons of Teen Wolf."
