The latest NBA trade rumors teased that the Boston Celtics might opt for Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel in exchange for their shooting guard Avery Bradley. The Celtics are reportedly considering options to acquire new team members to create the perfect team roster.
Sports Rageous reported that the 76ers are very keen on trading out their center player Noel and acquire other players. Reports claimed that the Celtics might bank on this opportunity and trade in Nerlens as he will be the perfect frontcourt match with their power forward, Al Horford.
Meanwhile, there are reports that even the Philadelphia 76ers are looking out for players who will support and maximize Ben Simmons' game as the point forward. ESPN Go reported that Bradley is expected to be the best match for the Philadelphia team as he possesses the ability to shoot basket beyond the arc. Also, it is expected that the 25-year-old player will be able to provide the perfect enhancement for the 76ers backcourt.
However Philadelphia 76ers general manager Bryan Colangelo is reported to be very cautious in choosing players for the upcoming season. "We're not going to make a bad deal just to make a deal," said Colangelo as reported by Real GM. "I think we can be a better basketball team if we can distribute that talent better. Maybe take one of those assets and address other needs on the roster. I think right now it's best to say we like all of them, we want to see if we can make the most out of each of them."
Even though there is no official confirmation about the trade rumors, reports stated that the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers will likely take major trade decisions before the start of the upcoming NBA season.
Moreover, the NBA trade rumors suggested that the other team interested in acquiring Nerlens Noel from the Philadelphia 76ers is the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors might reportedly trade their shooting guard, Terrence Ross, in exchange for Nerlens Noel.
