Sony has been trying to get the "Uncharted" movie in the theaters for a while now, and there are a lot of speculations as to who would be perfect for the role of treasure hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake.
No one, however, can be more perfect for the role than "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actor Brett Dalton. Here are the top five reasons why he is the man to pick.
Brett Dalton Nailed It In "Until Dawn"
Fans who have played the interactive drama survival horror game "Until Dawn" will recognize Brett in protagonist Michael "Mike" Munroe. This is not a coincidence as Dalton actually did the motion capture and voice acting for the character.
He was even praised for his performance for the role, having been nominated for Best Performance in a Drama in A Supporting Role by the National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers earlier this year.
Brett Dalton Is Awesome as Grant Ward in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
Dalton is best known for his role as Hydra double agent Grant Ward in Joss Whedon's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Brett was nominated as Choice TV Male Breakout Star during the 2014 Teen Choice Awards and ended up bagging the prize.
Fans Want Brett Dalton To Get The Role
If you go on Twitter and search for the hashtag #BrettForNate, you will find a thousand people who would absolutely want him to take the role. Even "Uncharted" fans agree.
Screen Rant has also included Dalton on its list of top actors who should bag the Nathan Drake role.
Even Nolan North Approves
A Twitter post confirmed that Nathan Drake himself, voice actor Nolan North, agrees that Brett Dalton will be perfect for the role. North also recommended "Guardians of the Galaxy" Chris Pratt, but the actor reportedly turned the role down.
Brett Dalton Looks Just Like Nate
He is the spitting image of the "Uncharted" protagonist. He also has the charm and the wit that is no different to the character.
Here are some pictures that will prove this point.
The "Uncharted" movie is slated for a June, 2017 release, according to IMDb.
