"Rick and Morty" Season 3 might be out sooner than expected as it was speculated to be out in small screens before the year ends.
Rumor has it that the original plan for release would be in March 2017, but showrunners Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland reportedly hinted months ago that they are planning to move the release on the last quarter of 2016.
"I think Season 3 is-we're targeting around the end of this year," they said in a panel during Magic City Comic Con, quotes Cinema Blend. "You guys do realize we're at the beginning of this year?" Watch the full interview here.
Meanwhile, other details regarding the much-awaited cartoon show reveal that a secret plot would be unveiled on Season 3. According to Geek, Rick might only be a pigment of imagination while another theory suggests that Rick is actually the older version of Morty.
However, fans are anticipating the idea that the real Morty is actually dead. In the details, he allegedly died due to an accident while Rick was inventing the interdimensional remote control.
The invention allows Rick to use the remote to find a dimension where Morty is alive so he could bring him back to the present. These plot theories sound plausible, but showrunners only assure the viewers that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be great.
"We're deep into the season and I always like to underpromise and overdeliver but I do really feel like, the episodes we've got in the hopper are some of the best we've ever done, I think."
"Rick and Morty" stars Justin Roiland as Rick. Other voice actors that were featured were Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Kari Wahlgren, Ryan Ridley, and Tom Kenny, to name a few.
