Avid George R.R. Martin fans have been waiting patiently for "The Winds of Winter" to be released, and latest reports have it that the novel is soon to be finished.
The author has been spilling beans from the book, creating the rumor mill that the much-awaited novel is about to be available on the bookshelves. According to Game N Guide, Martin hinted something about Dampair Greyjoy during the Balticon Convention a few days ago.
"The Greyjoys have it - you sick motherf*ckers" the author exclaimed when someone asked about them in a particular chapter. The notes of the whole conversation have been compiled in order and can be found here.
The official release date for the book is still unannounced, so fans may still have to wait for Martin to reveal. Notably, he stated in his online journal that he is disappointed about the delay of the book.
"You're disappointed, and you're not alone. My editors and publishers are disappointed, HBO is disappointed, my agents and foreign publishers and translators are disappointed... but no one could possibly be more disappointed than me," Martin apologized.
Notably, the writer addressed the Winter is Coming report claiming that Polish translator Michael Jakuszewski allegedly received a request by the Zysk Publishing House to translate the book before 2016 ends.
Soon after the letter came out, several speculations quickly surfaced on the Internet. There have been reports that he is suffering from a writer's block, that he has "too much on his plate" and cannot concentrate on the book.
Additionally, there is a rumor that he is seeking the help of another novelist, the critically- acclaimed fantasy novelist Neil Gaiman, who wrote remarkable books such as "American Gods," notes Christian Daily.
More updates about the release date of "The Winds of Winter" soon.
