Following a mysterious countdown, which was teased in the official website days before the big reveal, Pebble has finally announced the Kickstarter campaign for much - awaited Pebble devices.
The three devices consist of sequels of the company's previous smartwatches, namely Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2. Additionally, it also consists of an entirely new device, which helps in mobility, without the need of being near a Smartphone, the Pebble Core, according to Vine Report.
Pebble recently announced that the three devices are now available on Kickstarter for funding. The Pebble 2 has a proposed retail price of $99, while the Pebble Time 2 has a price of $169 and Pebble Core will be available for $69.
Users, who support the Kickstarter campaign, will be provided with an item equivalent to the price they have contributed, once the devices become available for release.
"Bringing delightful, affordable wearable technology to the world is the puzzle Pebble lives to solve," Pebble said. "Our latest vision for the future is almost complete. We're back on Kickstarter for the most important piece-you."
According to rumors, the Pebble and Pebble 2 will consist a heart rate monitoring function, and will also feature a waterproof build, which will reportedly allow them to stay underwater up to 30 meters depth. Users will also be able to stream music from Spotify and sync GPS data with multiple apps.
The battery life of the Pebble devices will also live up to the reputation and user expectations. The Pebble 2 will have a standby time of seven days, while the Pebble Time 2 will reportedly have a standby time of 10 days.
The Pebble 2 is scheduled to start shipping from September 2016, while the Pebble Time 2 will be available in November 2016, and the Pebble Coe in January 2017.
