Apple has been busy from last year, and this year, its schedule has reached new heights, with the rumors for launch of iOS 10. With iOS 10, Apple users will not have to rely on third party apps anymore.

Apple iOS 10 will be introducing a centralized HomeKit app of its own, which will allow users to manage their connected locks, thermostats, lights and home equipments through a single iPhone or iPad device.

Presently, Apple users need to download separate third party apps for each of their smart home devices they have installed. The apps, presently used, contain a interface for HomeKit setup, for creating scenes, rooms, and triggers, whose features can vary from one app to another, according to Mac World.

Additionally, some of the new features, which will be included, are a complete redesign of the Apple Music, addition of a stock Photo app, ability to edit certain areas of a specific image, new capabilities for Apple Pay.

The existing apps are updated regularly to include support for new smart devices, which are constantly being released. Both Yonomi and Home support Amazon's Echo voice assistant, according to Value Walk.

Although there will be no changes in the visual part of the iOS, yet it will feature specific functionalities which will enhance the user experience. iOS 10 is also rumored to launch a collection of new emojis. Apple has reportedly signed an agreement with the Unicode Consortium, which governs the creation and use of emojis, to bring as many as 74 new emojis to the upcoming iOS, along with a complete revamp of the Control Center.

The new operating system of Apple will be unveiled at WWDC 2016 in June. It is speculated that the newest operating system will be released to developers and testers after the reveal.
