Claudia Gray's novel "Star Wars: Bloodline" has been making headline as details about it were reportedly spilled on the Internet. According to some review, the newest book is "very satisfying to read."

The novel's timeline is set between "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens", and is about the story of Princess Leia's transformation from Republic Senator to Resistance leader before the rise of the First Order, wrote IGN. The website said that although the story covers much more of the political side of Star wars, the author made sure that her "simple and punchy style" does not bore the readers.

Aside from the creative with that the writer possesses, the story also goes well although the focal point is on Princess Leia. Other vital characters like Han Solo, Chewbacca and C-3PO have their fair share of exposure in the book as well.

As for the "Star Wars: Bloodline" verdict, IGN stated that the plot of the story is very moving, to the point that the reader may not even mind of the "subtle" narrative style that the book has.

"It's a fine summer read, light, airy, and sufficiently entertaining to keep readers interested as the story runs its course," as they concluded.

Meanwhile, the author said in a past interview that she was so interested to visit Princess Leia's story where she was a "Huttslayer"- a slave wearing a metal bikini, which she became famous for.

"Right around when I was working on this part of the book there was a movement that went around in some Star Wars fan circles - a lot of talk about how much people don't like the 'Slave Leia' outfit. That's her most powerless moment in the entire thing. It was a dancing girl outfit, but it gets called a slave outfit," she said as quoted from Movie Web.
