Samsung Galaxy S8 News: Image Leaked On Twitter Month Before Release, Shows Huge Display & Launch Date!
Catherine G.A respected information leaker has tweeted a pretty clear image of the upcoming Samsung flagship phone: the Samsung Galaxy S8. There is a full month left before Samsung officially releases the much-anticipated smartphone.
However, for those who cannot wait, "Evleaks" is here to the rescue! Evan Blass, known by his Twitter handle (@evleaks), has leaked an authentic looking photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8. This is a clear computer generated render that looks quite a lot like the previous images that were leaked before. These images were said to be of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
I think this is what you've been waiting for. pic.twitter.com/FvYfsLOy0R

What does the latest photo of the device suggest about the specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy S8? The phone in focus of the photo features a wraparound display that covers almost the entire front side of the phone.
The phone also shows the date as March 29, not March 1 (the day the leaked image first surfaced). What is the significance of March 29? This is the date when Apple is allegedly launching the Samsung Galaxy S8. Evleaks usually has a good reputation when it comes to reliable rumors and leaks about upcoming gadgets and devices. He did not offer any other information on the upcoming phone. The tweet has received almost 4k retweets.
However, a few days before he leaked this picture, he released the specs for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8+. The features include 6.2-inch screen with Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display panel.
Let us hope this news and images represent an accurate picture: we can't wait for the flagship Galaxy S8 phone to be released. It will definitely be an event of redemption for Samsung after the year 2016 was marred by the Note 7 fiasco.
